This print is an ode to one of my favorite wildflowers. I chose to form these sheets in an oval shape as a nod to the victorian era silhouette portraits. This isn't just a botanical print, It is a portrait of a beloved plant neighbour!
Yarrow is the gift that keeps on giving. It’s associated with healing and love in folklore and its Latin name Achillea Millefolium is derived from the warrior Achilles who is said to have used it to stauch wounds and millefolium which means ‘thousand leaved’
