Can I return an item?
I can offer returns on non custom items provided it is returned in the exact same condition as when it was purchased. The same applies to non custom handmade paper orders. The buyer is responsible for returns postage fees.
I cannot offer returns on custom/made to order items but where there is error on my part I will always endeavour to make it right.

Is the paper suitable for calligraphy and watercolour?
Yes! The paper is internally sized (meaning that the sizing solution is added to the vat before sheet forming). Most commercial papers are also sized externally but I have chosen not to do as it tends to make the final sheet feel 'crispier' and less soft and pillowy.
Customers so far have created some stunning examples of watercolour, ink and calligraphy on . It wont behave exactly like your commercial papers but isn’t that the beauty of handmade paper?
-
Can I flat print on the paper with my my digital printer?
Many customers have had success using a standard home printer but results are varied and dependent on a number of different factors including the capabilities of the printer being used.
-
Can I order a custom colour/blend?
Yes! I love to experiment and create unique papers. If you are interested in a custom colour or blend of fibres (there are many exciting things you can include like seeds and wildflower petals) get it touch directly via email and we can discuss the possibilities.

Are the dyes you use lightfast?
All my coloured papers are dyed using botanical dyes which vary in lightfastness, therefore, each colour has different lightfastness. please get in touch if you’d like to discuss the lightfastness of a particular colour or for advice on its suitability for various purposes.
To prevent fading of any botanically dyed goods it is recommended that you keep them out of direct sunlight. For Art prints, framing them with UV protective glass is recommended although regular glass will also provide some degree of protection from fading due to sunlight.
