Made in the UK in my small paper and print studio using time-honoured techniques and equipment.
Each sheet is hand formed using a mould and deckle giving it a feathery deckled edge. It is made from plant fibres and reclaimed rag and dyed using colour extracted from botanicals. This natural and handmade process means that there are slight variations in weight, colour and size and sheets will contain occasional mottling and speckles of plant matter. Perfectly imperfect as nature intended. Dyed with Cutch extract this colour begins as a light golden buff before oxidising to take on a slightly deeper peachier hue. The last photo gives an example of the type of colour variation you can expect from different batches.

It has a linen like texture and luxurious mid weight that feels similar to a 350-400gsm card stock. Pillowy enough for a lovely deep letterpress impression but firm enough for watercolours, calligraphy and digital print. The paper is internally sized in the vat to aid its compatibility with ink.
