‘Record of Rain’ is a collaboration between Lauren Smith and Thee Oo Thazin, supported by the British Council’s Connections Through Culture grant program. It explores the changing rain patterns of Myanmar and the impacts of climate change while acknowledging our connectedness within the Earth’s hydrological system.
Wagaung is the fifth month of the Myanmar lunisolar calendar falling from mid-August to mid-September.
